Norona Named CFO Of Advance Auto Parts

January 23, 2008 (FinancialWire) Michael Moore has resigned his
position as executive vice president and chief financial officer of
Advance Auto Parts, Inc. (NYSE: AAP), effective February 1.
The company has named Michael Norona as its EVP and CFO.
Prior to joining Advance, Norona spent a nineteen year career in
various finance capacities with Best Buy (NYSE: BBY), the first
fourteen of which were with Future Shop, a Best Buy subsidiary in
Canada.
Roanoke, Virginia-based Advance Auto Parts is a retailer of automotive
aftermarket parts, accessories, batteries, and maintenance items in the
United States. As of October 6, 2007, the company operated 3,228 stores
in 40 states, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
