New chairman named for Leadership N.M.

(Albuquerque Journal (NM) (KRT) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Aug. 25--Leadership New Mexico has named Dick Smith, Class of 2001 and Owner of RLS Consulting in Clovis, as chairman of its Board of Directors for 2008-2009, and recently announced its members.



"I look forward to the coming year of growth for Leadership New Mexico," Smith said in a statement. "We all have to work together to improve the quality of life in New Mexico and I am honored to be part of an organization that works endlessly to truly make a long-term difference."

The board members are: Walt Bolic, president & CEO of Delta Dental Plan of New Mexico, Dave Doyle, president of Enterprise Builders Corporation, Jesus Galvan, vice president of Professional Services for Delta Dental Plan of New Mexico, Katherine Gorospe, government relations director and general counsel for Laguna Development Corporation, Bob Kellogg, president and CEO of Mesa Medical Assurance Company, Joe Lujan, vice president of Manuel Lujan Insurance Agencies, Tom Macken, attorney with Macken Law Firm, Jennifer Martinek, client services manager for CH2M Hill, Karen Moses, managing editor for the Albuquerque Journal, Dave Palmer, director, Independent Audit & Advisory Services Center for Sandia National Laboratories, Jimmy Trujillo, principal for REDW LLC The Rogoff Firm, and Greg Winegardner, regional president for Wells Fargo Bank.



Established in 1995, Leadership New Mexico is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) educational organization. It has identified and enhanced leadership throughout New Mexico over the past thirteen years by providing a forum for participants to strengthen knowledge of challenges and opportunities facing the state.
