NetBooks(R) Partners With PayCycle(R) to Seamlessly Integrate Paperless Payroll

ROHNERT PARK, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- NetBooks(R) Inc. (www.netbooks.com), the first easy-to-use and affordable system for running an entire small business, and PayCycle, Inc. (www.paycycle.com), the leader in online payroll, have joined forces to bring paperless payroll to True Small Businesses (TSBs). With this integration, PayCycle customers can export their data directly into NetBooks at the click of a mouse, saving time and eliminating errors for this essential business process.

The first of many services to be integrated into the NetBooks system, PayCycle adds another capability to the already robust NetBooks suite, which currently includes sales management, customer relationship management, vendor relationship management, inventory and production management, shipping, bookkeeping, reporting, and more. PayCycle's paperless payroll enables small business owners to offer direct deposit of paychecks for their employees, and provides payment and filing assistance for both federal and state taxes.

"NetBooks' mission is no less than to revolutionize the way small businesses are managed, by providing powerful, easy-to-use tools for every part of the operation," said Ridgely Evers, CEO of NetBooks. "As a small business owner who has been a customer of PayCycle for years, I know first-hand that PayCycle provides an unmatched combination of outstanding customer service, ease of use, and affordability. Combining their service with NetBooks is a natural fit."

PayCycle built its service to take the complexity and anxiety out of managing payroll, while keeping associated costs low. The company's web-based solution is easy to set up, allows business owners or bookkeepers to run payroll in less than five minutes, and sends direct deposits or prints paychecks and professional pay stubs.

In addition, PayCycle provides:

-- Complete payroll management, from paychecks to W-2 forms

-- One-click electronic federal tax payments and filings, including W-2s

-- State tax payments and completed forms or worksheets (electronic in most states)

-- Direct deposit at no extra cost

-- 1099 contractor payment support

-- Withholding calculations for more than one state

"We've built the PayCycle business around serving small companies, and recognize that NetBooks is stepping in to meet the critical business management needs of this market," said Jim Heeger, CEO, President and Chairman of the Board of PayCycle. "But we have more in common than a customer base. We both see excellent customer service as our top priority, and provide immediate access to expert support at no additional charge. NetBooks makes a natural partner for PayCycle."

Unparalleled Service

NetBooks not only brings complete business management software to the TSB market, but also backs it with personal hands-on support, including:

-- Dedicated concierges, each with at least 10 years of experience working with small businesses, to assist with the transition to NetBooks

-- Immediate access, directly within the product, to experienced support personnel

-- Unlimited support access at no additional charge

The True Small Business Market

Both NetBooks and PayCycle are optimized to address the specific needs of the TSB: the 5.1 million owner-operated, self-funded companies that employ half of US workers and account for the majority of new job formation. With NetBooks, all of their key business information is stored and shared in one system.

Software as a Service

NetBooks and PayCycle each use an on-demand, or Software as a Service, delivery model, making the integration seamless and immediate.

The integration with PayCycle does not increase the cost of either service. NetBooks is priced at $200/month for up to five users, plus a bookkeeper and an accountant. Additional users cost just $20/month each. Support is included, along with all current and future product functionality (with the exception of optional fees for services provided by partners). Customers can choose between quarterly and annual billing options.

NetBooks guarantees this price for the duration of the customer relationship. If NetBooks increases its pricing, existing customers continue to pay the old price. If NetBooks decreases its pricing, all customers automatically get the new, lower price.

PayCycle Plus is just $42.99 per month for up to 5 employees and $1.50 for each additional employee. This flat monthly fee includes unlimited payroll runs, direct deposit, contractor payments, electronic federal tax payments and filings including W-2s, full state tax support.
