NEC Launches ExpressCluster® Replicator Essential on AWS MarketplaceNEC Corporation of America (NEC), a leading provider and integrator of advanced IT and communications solutions, today announced that it is offering the NEC ExpressCluster Replicator Essential for Windows™ solution, a new automated disaster recovery solution, on AWS Marketplace. The new NEC solution provides data replication and automated recovery of physical or virtual production Windows file server to a standby virtual machine running on Amazon Web Services (News - Alert) (AWS). The fully automated, remote disaster recovery solution can recover important Windows network file servers within minutes to avoid business disruption due to production system hardware, software or site failures. The NEC solution leverages a flexible and low-cost ExpressCluster and AWS via subscriptions - thus eliminating the need for dedicated disaster recovery infrastructure and facility as well as perpetual licensing costs.
