NCC URGES SUBSCRIBERS TO SEEK REDRESS AT SOKOTO FORUM


(Daily Trust (Nigeria) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Cell phone subscribers in Sokoto State who have been shortchanged in one way or the other by the telecoms operators can lodge their complaints at a Consumer Forum, an official of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has said.



The Director of Public Affairs, NCC, Tony Ojobo, said the Consumer Forum will take place today in Sokoto where aggrieved consumers of telecoms service would have the opportunity to see facetoface with the operators to complain about bad services rendered them.

A statement issued by Ojobo, yesterday, said that issues such as drop calls, inability to reach call service centres, incessant bombardment of unsolicited messages and high call tariff would be addressed at the forum.
