Natura Therapeutics Receives Patent For Dietary Supplement Designed To Boost Stem Cells

Scientists at Natura Therapeutics Inc., a spin-out company from the University of South Florida, have received a patent for a unique dietary supplement called NutraStem, a synergistic blend of active botanicals and antioxidants aimed at adult stem cell regeneration.
Adult stem cells have the potential to develop into most tissues in the body and have the capacity to migrate toward damaged areas. According to the National Institutes of Health, the primary role of adult stem cells is to maintain and repair tissues.
