NASCENT Technology Declares 1000th AGS Kiosk, "Ready for Delivery"CHARLOTTE, N.C. --(Business Wire)-- NASCENT Technology (NASCENT), the leading technology solutions provider to the Intermodal Transportation Industry, has announced that it has completed assembly of its 1000th Automated Gate System (AGS) Kiosk. "This milestone represents yet another leg in our journey to improve Intermodal transportation and the flow of commerce as a whole," stated Fabio Teti, NASCENT President and CEO during a company ceremony celebrating the completion of the 1000th Kiosk. "I'm especially excited to say that this kiosk will be delivered to Norfolk Southern's Intermodal Facility right here in Charlotte, North Carolina," added Teti. The kiosk, nicknamed "Jimmy", is branded with a special, decorative, 1000th kiosk banner, and was signed by every NASCENT employee during the celebration. "We're probably the best kept secret in Charlotte," said Nigel Davis, NASCENT Vice President of Product Operations. "This kiosk, as with all our products, is designed, manufactured, ad assembled with a lot of pride. It isn't often that our folks get to be recognized outside these walls. I'm glad they're getting a chance to celebrate their hard work," concluded Davis. The formal dedication will be held later in the year to coincide with its delivery to the Norfolk Southern facility. "The production of this kiosk and its recipient are important to NASCENT for statistical as well as sentimental reasons. Obviously, manufacturing and selling 1000 kiosks is significant by any metric, but Norfolk Southern was our first railroad client and it's only fitting that 'Jimmy' be delivered to a Norfolk Southern facility. The fact that it'll be delivered to a facility so close to us, is just an added bonus," said Dave Lambacher, NASCENT Vice President of Business Development.
