NACON's Cyber Classroom Achieves One Million Army Users

ANNAPOLIS, MD, Feb 22, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- When NACON's virtual classroom came online in 2002, there were a total of 14 Army trainees learning how to use actual network security software to help protect the Army's networks. Last week, the total number of Army users reached an astounding one million.


NACON Consulting, LLC is the prime contractor in support of the U.S.

Army Information Assurance Virtual Training Classroom (IAVTC) and provides enterprise cyber security training solutions. The classroom is powered by a unique Cyber Lab, providing students with immersive, hands-on learning scenarios.


The reaction of users to the latest version of NACON's Distance Learning Platform has been incredibly positive and commendatory. The classroom offers comprehensive, online, role-based training to teach cyber security and intelligence knowledge and skills and uses patented virtual machine management tools in combination with a robust Learning Management System.
