Mutualink to Unveil Breakthrough Mobile Go Kit for Interoperable Public Safety Communications at IACP 2014ORLANDO, Fla. --(Business Wire)-- Mutualink, an interoperable communications technology company, will debut its Mobile Go Kit for first responders next week at the 121st Annual International Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference. In times of crisis, this easy-to-transport case for on-the-go interoperable communications enables public safety officials and emergency managers to establish secure command and control on the move, anywhere. The kit connects to 4G LTE (News - Alert)/3G or hard-wired internet, bridging radio and telephone and enabling first responders to send and receive full motion video, files and text messages from remote locations. In Passaic County, New Jersey, the first Go Kit is part of a counter-terrorism toolkit, ready to assist as the county prepares for any man-made or natural threat to security. The kit provides a fully portable information sharing solution; a flexible way to deploy resources as, when and where needed to attain inter-agency collaboration. Additionally, Mutualink will demonstrate its resilient peer-to-peer collaboration network for public safety, which provides proven, secure, reliable communications for mission-critical homeland security and law enforcement needs. The platform won the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Interoperability Test Command certification for both Information Assurance and Interoperability. IACP attendees will have an opportunity for a hands-on demonstration of how a panic button can trigger an incident connecting schools (or other facilities) with their local police department in the event of an emergency using Mutualink's K12 solution. In such an incident, police departments can then invite other community partners like hospitals, fire departments or state and federal agencies participating on the IRAPP as necessary to respond to and mitigate the emergency.
