Morneau Shepell provides 1 in 3 CO-OP enrollees with Plan Administration Solutions and Support

Morneau Shepell, a leading provider of technology and outsourcing services, announced today that it has surpassed well over 125,000 new enrollees in CO-OP health insurance plans across the US. Morneau Shepell manages the call center, enrollment, billing and administration for growing health plans, and contributed to the CO-OPs' exponential growth during the first open enrollment period of the Affordable Care Act.

Morneau Shepell's modular suite of Health Plan Services features integrated software and services for health insurance companies serving individual and group markets through public and private exchanges. Consumer Operated and Oriented Plans (CO-OPs) are not-for-profit, member-governed health insurance companies established as part of the Affordable Care Act. According to the National Alliance of State Health CO-OPs (NASHCO), more than 400,000 people have enrolled in the 23 CO-OP health insurance plans that were established.
