More than 8,200 Attendees Visit ITEXPO East in Miami
NORWALK, Conn. --(Business Wire)--
TMC (News - Alert) today announced that more than 8,200 attendees visited their ITEXPO
East conference last week in Miami, establishing a new attendance record
for the three-day event. Conferee attendance for ITEXPO (News - Alert) East - comprised
only of those paying to attend breakout and specialized training
sessions-increased more than 50% from 2011, resulting in dozens of
standing room only sessions at ITEXPO and collocated conferences such as
HTML5 Summit, M2M Evolution, Business Video Expo, Super WiFi (News - Alert) Summit, and
4GWE.
TMC also announced that a record number of exhibitors - more than 200 in
total - participated in the expo. The show saw the largest number of new products
and services announced on the show floor. And TMC also announced the
event's Best-of-Show
winners in an earlier release.
ITEXPO West 2012 is scheduled to take place on October 1-4, 2012, in
Austin, Texas. The Call

Attendee demographics for ITEXPO Miami were once again split between
enterprise executives (approx. 30 percent); service providers (26
percent); VARs and resellers (approx. 27 percent). In addition, software
developers, hardware manufacturers, media/analysts, and industry
consultants made up the final 12 percent.
