Mochila and Clickability Join Forces to Help Web Publishers Syndicate Content and Increase Revenue
NEW YORK --(Business Wire)-- Mochila, the first global online media marketplace for print, audio, video, and photo content, today announced a partnership with Clickability, a leading Content Management Platform. The partnership will enable Clickability's publishing clients to both buy and syndicate content across the Web, and earn revenue through Mochila's media marketplace.
Under the terms of the agreement, Clickability clients can syndicate content to other publishers, creating a broader distribution channel, and earn money by using Mochila's innovative AdMatch program. With AdMatch, Clickability clients will earn a percentage of the revenue generated by the advertising-supported content integrated into their site. Publishers can also license their content to other Web sites for a one-time fee.
Mochila's Marketplace offers millions of articles, photos and videos from some of the largest, most-recognized media brands in the World. Content providers include The Associated Press, Getty Images and Hearst Magazines, among hundreds of others, offering a broad range of topics like entertainment, sports, and business, national and global news.
"The Mochila Marketplace provides a really valuable platform for publishers to sell their content because our growing member directory includes a diverse group of publishers looking to acquire the world's highest-quality video, text, and photos," said CEO Keith McAllister. "Our proprietary licensing technology provides a free and easy platform for Clickability's clients to sell and republish rights-managed content."
"We are excited to position the Mochila offering to our customers and prospects," said John Girard, CEO of Clickability. "Our customers expect us to help them innovate and prosper in a very competitive environment. Our relationship to Mochila highlights our continuing support of our customers in their efforts to become successful thought leaders in the publishing community."
In addition to using Mochila to syndicate content, publishers can leverage Mochila to buy content with the help of Mochila's team of editors, who have assembled hundreds of pre-made content widgets on various topics including outdoor grilling, the 2008 presidential election and NASCAR, which can be placed directly on their own Web sites. Publishers can also search Mochila to select articles, photos and videos to create their own content widgets.
In addition to English, all Mochila services are also available in Spanish via Mochila Espanol.
