Dec 28, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
Mobile Posse, a provider of mobile home screen advertising and CRM solutions in the U.S., now reaches more than 10 million mobile consumers with active home screen messaging -- 25 percent of which use smartphones.
In addition, Mobile Posse said it reaches two million Hispanics and three million Android users, allowing advertisers even greater capability and reach for targeting specific audiences.
"Mobile Posse's growth has been staggering over the last year," said Jon Jackson, CEO of Mobile Posse. "With every passing day we see more and more smartphones and an ever diversifying audience. It's no surprise we've seen new partnership opportunities with both carriers and advertisers. We are working to continue growing rapidly in 2012 by launching new products, refining the existing ones, and expanding our audience."
An increasing number of carriers utilize Mobile Posse to engage subscribers including Verizon Wireless, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, and Cricket. The Mobile Posse platform allows advertisers and wireless carriers to proactively engage consumers with graphical and interactive messages via the home screen of mobile phones. Consumers opt-in to the free service to receive helpful and timely information, such as weather forecasts and local gas prices, along with valuable offers from national and local advertisers. Carriers leverage the platform to deliver full-screen, full-color CRM messages supporting customer service and product initiatives.
