Mobile Heartbeat to Demonstrate the MH-CURE Clinical Communications and Collaboration Solution at HIMSS17

Mobile Heartbeat, a leading provider of smartphone applications that improve clinical workflow and team communications, today announced it will be exhibiting at HIMSS17, the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) annual conference and exhibition taking place February 19 - 23, 2017, at the Orange (News - Alert) County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. The exhibition is February 20 - 22. Mobile Heartbeat will be in Booth #4895, demonstrating MH-CURE (Clinical Urgent REsponse), its secure smartphone application enabling clinical communications, patient-specific workflow and a real-time clinical team directory connecting all members of a patient's care team.

Visitors at the Mobile Heartbeat Booth can also get an MH-CURE user's perspective from Dr. Annabaker Garber, Vice President and Chief Nursing Informatics (News - Alert) Officer with HCA (Hospital Corporation of America), which has implemented MH-CURE. Dr. Garber will be in the Mobile Heartbeat booth on Tuesday, February 21 from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. to speak with fellow clinicians.

Dr. Garber will also be speaking February 21 at 10:15 a.m. at the 10th Annual Cisco Connected Health Sumit at HIMSS17. Dr. Garber's presentation, entitled "Cracking the Code on Secure Clinical Communications: How HCA Tackled One of Healthcare's Most Common Challenges," will follow HCA's journey to select and implement a secure clinical communications solution and MH-CURE's successful rollout and positive impact on throughput, clinician satisfaction and patient care.

Mobile Heartbeat will also be joining with Apple in a dedicated kiosk inside Cisco's (News - Alert) booth, #1850. The two companies will demonstrate MH-CURE using iPhone products and leveraging the Apple CallKit, which provides programmatic access to VoIP functionality.

MH-CURE provides unified Clinical Communication and Collaboration - multiple capabilities such as secure texting, Voice over WiFi (News - Alert), paging, broadcasting, alert integration, and other clinical system integration in a single application - enabling all clinicians across the enterprise to use one device/one application for all their communications and collaboration needs. MH-CURE also incorporates patient information and real-time, patient-specific care team information, improving workflow and care team collaboration. Care team members have the choice of using their own smartphone (BYOD) or sharing hospital-supplied Apple (News - Alert) iPhones.
