Millennium Awarded a Prime Contract under the Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center(ENP Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ENP Newswire - 28 July 2014 Release date- 25072014 - Millennium Engineering and Integration Company has been awarded a prime contract under the Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center Hosted Payload Solutions program for the purpose of partnering with the Air Force to provide a rapid and flexible means for the U.S. Government to acquire commercial hosting capabilities for Government payloads. As a contract awardee, Millennium will help the Air Force achieve a key step in the service's ongoing exploration of alternative ways to deploy space-based capabilities and to standardize the processes and interfaces for placing dedicated military capabilities aboard commercial satellites. The multi-award contract has a combined value of nearly $500M.
