MIIT Prefers Chinese Homemade Security Software

News from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) that terminal equipment of the government agency has turned to security software of Qihoo 360.

Report by CCID Consulting (SEHK: 8235) revealed that Symantec has dominance in companies with high information level, holding more than 10,000 terminal equipment. However, after the NSA spying scandal exposed by Edward Snowden, Chinese government no longer believed security of foreign software suppliers.
