Biller joins as partner in addition to being named Managing Partner of the office, with Haas joining as a senior counsel. Biller is a stalwart IP litigator in North Carolina with more than two decades experience focusing on various issues of trial and appellate law. He represents clients on various IP matters including trade secret disputes, patents, copyrights and trademarks, issues related to licensing, guidance on IPR contracts, and portfolio management of content and brands. He is also an NC Bar certified trademark law specialist. Biller received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Campbell University where he served as managing editor of the Campbell Law Review He also earned his undergraduate degree as a Distinguished Military Graduate from Purdue University (News - Alert). Haas focuses her practice on patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret litigation matters. She represents clients in various industries including biotechnology, chemical, software and optoelectronics. Haas earned her J.D., cum laude, from Campbell University, where she was the coordinating editor for the Campbell Law Review. She also received her M.S. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her B.S./B.A., magna cum laude, from Gettysburg College.
