MiCTA Selects ShoreTel as an Endorsed National Telephony Equipment

SAGINAW, Mich., June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- MiCTA, a national non-profit
technology consortium, has selected ShoreTel, Inc., as an endorsed
national vendor for VoIP telephony equipment. "We are excited to
welcome ShoreTel as a new vendor to the MiCTA community," says Tim von
Hoff, Chief Operating Officer of MiCTA. "Our members are increasingly
turning to Voice over IP to meet their communications needs. ShoreTel
can assist our members in extending their networks to include

ShoreTel offers a wide range of IP telephony and unified

ShoreTel was named as a MiCTA endorsed national vendor following a
highly competitive bidding process, in which MiCTA invites vendors to
propose technology-oriented and telecommunications services and
solutions on behalf of its nationwide membership. Once the evaluation
process has been completed, MiCTA members may purchase
telecommunications and technology-oriented products and services at
volume discounts using the MiCTA contract. Besides offering
significant cost savings, this approach also eliminates the need for
members to conduct their own competitive bidding processes.
