Metro PCS and Cricket to launch Motorola's MOTO VE240 handset in US

Motorola has announced that its MOTO VE240 handset will be arriving soon to US-based Cricket Communications, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Leap Wireless International, and to Metro PCS Communications.

According to Motorola, its MOTO VE240 is a candy-bar style device, which features MP3; Stereo Bluetooth wireless technology; 4GB of optional removable memory; and USB 2.0 technology for faster file transfers from a PC.

Kathleen Finato, vice president of sales at Motorola, said: "MOTO VE240 will help consumers further enjoy the benefits offered by two of the nation's top providers of unlimited wireless communications with its many features and great looks. We are delighted to offer the features most important to consumers with impressive quality at an unbelievable value."
