Metavante, Monitise, Carphone Warehouse To Offer Mobile Phone Based Prepay Card

May 9, 2008 (FinancialWire) Monitise PLC and Metavante (NYSE: MV) are
working with Carphone Warehouse (OTC: CRWHF) to launch a mobile money
scheme. The launch will see the introduction of a Carphone Warehouse
prepay card, managed directly from the mobile phone.
The service will include full mobile management. Using a secure
application stored on the mobile handset, customers will be able to add
money to their card directly from their bank account, and also view
their transaction history.
Metavante Technologies is a leading European debit and prepaid card
payments processor. Metavante Technologies is the parent company of
Metavante Corp. Metavante Corp delivers banking and payments
