Mesa Air Group Said United Did Not Extend Code-Sharing Agreement (MESA)

Nov 07, 2009 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- 11/7/2009 - Mesa Air Group Inc. (NASDAQ:MESA) said that United Airlines did not extend an agreement with the airline. Mesa operates the CRJ-200 aircraft under a code-sharing agreement with United. The deadline for extending the deal passed and now Mesa expects to end the service by April of 2010. Mesa said it also operates planes for other regional operations of major carriers including Delta and US Airways Express.
