'Meru sets up WLAN for NLL Federation's academies in UK'

Sep 09, 2009 (DMEUROPE via COMTEX) -- The UK New Line Learning (NLL) Federation has awarded a contract to WLAN equipment maker Meru Networks to deploy Meru Networks' 802.11n wireless LAN infrastructure for its academies, namely the NLL Academy located in Loose and Cornwallis Academy in Linton, Maidstone borough.

The wireless networks are part of the Academies' so-called "e-learning plazas". Besides wireless internet access, the e-learning centres provide students with a wide range of multimedia services. Plaza Three at the Cornwallis Academy has been fully operational with Meru wireless for over three months.
