"Addiction is a chronic disease that requires lifetime attention to maintain recovery," said Jack Bice, president of Beauterre. "Beauterre Recovery Institute programs are a beginning and foundation toward recovery, integrating innovative assessments with the very best in treatment models and personalized therapy programs for those seeking a new recovery treatment option."

From assessment to personalized therapy to continuing care for up to a year after a stay, Beauterre Recovery Institute is committed to driving best outcomes by integrating the latest innovations to meet the physical, emotional and psychological needs of the individual. Upon intake, patients will receive medical and chemical assessments including Millennium Pharmacogenetic Testing - a non-invasive genetic test that helps identify how the patient's genetic profile may impact response to certain medications and help clinicians make more effective personalized prescribing decision. Beauterre Recovery Institute is also providing each patient with a neuropsychiatric assessment and health and wellness assessment that will allow for intgrating a variety of therapies including biofeedback, acupuncture, massage and equine therapy into the individual care plan.

"When it comes to addiction treatment and recovery, every person has different needs," said Dr. Sheila Specker, medical director of Beauterre. "Our programs are based on the needs of the individual, specifically addressing the co-occurring mental health issues often intertwined with chemical dependency."

Beauterre Recovery Institute is also providing specialized care programming to support the needs of licensed professionals such as physicians, nurses, attorneys and pilots. And, while a typical length of stay in residential treatment tends to be about 30 days, Beauterre Recovery Institute will offer variable lengths of stay based on the individual's needs, including shorter-stay options for those who have successfully completed a treatment program but have relapsed in their recovery.

"When it comes to delivering best outcomes, every patient is different," said Bice. "And we recognize and embrace those differences to provide the best models, the best therapies and the best environment - all to give that individual and their family the best chance at recovery."

Beauterre Recovery Institute is a private-pay facility and an out-of-network option for clients with commercial insurance. Moving forward, the group plans to work closely with insurers to provide in-network coverage options.

Beauterre is located approximately one hour south of Minneapolis-St. Paul at the former Gainey Center in Owatonna, Minn. Fully renovated facilities offer a warm, sophisticated and pastoral setting, providing ideal surroundings for individual and group therapy, self-reflection and healing. The campus includes spacious client and group rooms, elegant dining facilities, a classroom building, exercise facilities, and more than 180 acres of prairie with walking trails, basketball and tennis courts, a golf practice tee and horseback riding. Care includes 24-hour licensed nursing care, dual-diagnosis competencies and specialized programming nurses, physicians, attorneys and other licensed professionals.
