Mercy Health and Kyruus Forge Strategic Partnership to Further Enterprise-Wide Patient Access

Kyruus, a leader in provider search and scheduling solutions for health systems, announced today that Mercy Health (based in Cincinnati, Ohio) has entered into a strategic partnership with the company. The largest health system in Ohio with $6B in assets, Mercy Health is the second provider network to invest in Kyruus following Providence Ventures-the venture capital arm of Providence Health & Services-in 2015. The partnership includes a direct investment into Kyruus as well as the creation of an Innovation Council that will enable the organizations to collaborate closely on the future development of Kyruus' ProviderMatch™ portfolio for enterprise-wide patient access.

Mercy Health became a Kyruus customer in 2015, leveraging the company's provider data management and patient-provider matching solutions to transform patient access across the health system as well as support its operationalization f a clinically integrated network. "We've seen the power of Kyruus' platform firsthand and directly benefited from the impact of its solutions across our health system," said Jeff Carr, Chief Innovation Officer at Mercy Health. "We look forward to joining Providence in partnering with Kyruus as it continues enabling health systems like ours to enhance access to care."

The strategic partnership with Mercy Health will complement Kyruus' existing relationship with Providence Health & Services, one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in the US. "Providence had been working with Kyruus for about 18 months when we felt compelled to invest," said Aaron Martin, EVP and Chief Digital Officer at Providence St. Joseph Health and General Manager of Providence Ventures. "We've enjoyed contributing to Kyruus' innovation trajectory and look forward to now also working with Mercy Health to drive the evolution of Kyruus' solutions for health systems."

"We're honored to have both of these forward-thinking health systems as our customers and partners," said Graham Gardner, CEO of Kyruus. "The teams at Mercy Health and Providence both share our commitment to optimizing patient access at an enterprise level. We are incredibly grateful for the hard work that their clinical, IT, marketing, and operations leaders have put into our collaborations and are excited to partner more closely to further enhance how we all help care for patients."
