Medline Signs New Patient Care Plastics Agreement with NovationMUNDELEIN, Ill. --(Business Wire)-- Medline announced that Novation, the leading healthcare services company for VHA Inc., UHC, Children's Hospital Association and Provista, LLC, awarded the leading healthcare supplier with a new three-year national agreement for patient care plastics products. In the agreement, Medline will help Novation drive cost savings and efficiencies to the more than 100,000 members of VHA Inc. and UHC, two national health care alliances, Children's Hospital Association and Provista, LLC, including hospitals, surgery centers, long-term care facilities, physician offices, clinics and other non-acute care facilities. Medline will offer members its self-manufactured patient care plastics, including basins, bed pans and urinals, under the NOVAPLUS® label. NOVAPLUS® is Novation's private label brand of pharmacy and medical-surgical products that offers additional savings to members for high-quality products. Medline will help prvide savings by distributing its self-manufactured patient care plastics, made at its Mundelein, Ill. headquarters, direct to healthcare facilities from its more than 40 distribution centers throughout the country. Medline will also deliver cost savings and efficiencies by driving product standardization and utilization solutions, as well as providing enhanced reporting capabilities to help facilities better monitor and control costs.
