(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) DALLAS, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 02/05/13 --
Avaya Inc., a global provider of business communications and collaboration systems, software and services, is excited to partner with the Dallas Division of the American Heart Association in their mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular disease and stroke. Avaya will be visiting the Dallas, Texas area on February 6th, 2013 to host Evolutions, an annual event to inspire business decision-makers, IT managers, and line-of-business end users.
At Evolutions, Avaya will make a donation to the Dallas Division of the American Heart Association (AHA). Throughout the event, Avaya will donate $1 per attendee and $1 per tweet up to $3,500. During the closing session, Avaya will present AHA spokeswoman Erica Annise, who lives with a hereditary heart disease, with an oversized check totaling the day's donation.
On February 1st, the American Heart Association celebrated 10 years of Go Red for Women with National Wear Red Day, a national icon day in the fight against the number one killer of women -- heart disease. In addition to the aforementioned fundraising program, Avaya has asked Evolutions attendees to "Go Red" in support of this very important cause.
