McKinsey's Head of Design to Keynote Model N Rainmaker 2018


Model N, Inc. (NYSE: MODN), the leading provider of revenue management solutions for the life sciences, high tech and manufacturing industries, will welcome Dave Hoffer, Head of Design for New Ventures at McKinsey & Company, as the guest keynote speaker for its 14th annual conference. Rainmaker, the premier revenue management conference, will be held February 12-14, 2018 at the Omni La Costa Resort.

Hoffer's keynote "Design Consciousness" will draw upon his experience leading McKinsey's design work in digital transformation, focusing on how to design the customer experience and new business models. Hoffer will share a design maturity model brought to life by real-world customer examples. Rainmaker attendees will leave this keynote with a more urgent need to "up their game" around how to design the customer experience as part of their digital reinvention.

Hoffer has more than 20 years' design experience, most recently at McKinsey for the past three years. Prior to McKinsey, he's designed experiences for Amazon, HP, AT&T, Cisco (News - Alert), Disney and Roche, in addition to several start-ups. Hoffer has worked across disciplines including visual and brand design, but has focused primarily on interaction design and user research.
