Masternaut introduces e mail service for vehicle tracking product

(Corporate IT update Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) CORPORATE IT UPDATE-(C)1995-2006 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

An e-mail service has been introduced by Masternaut, a vehicle telematics company, offering a choice of more than 200 customisable reports illustrating the precise movement of any vehicle fitted with the company's telematics product.

Masternaut said the M-Reports service is a feature of its web-based Masternaut mobile resource solution, which provides the real-time movements of vehicles on maps displayed online. The service is intended for companies running fleets and requiring accurate records of vehicle usage and timekeeping.

The reports, which are available on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, detail the actual fleet use and service performance, enabling comparison with planned schedules and service performance requirements. The use of electronic time sheets enables instant checks to be made for payroll and overtime.

Masternaut provides a fully managed service which links to satellite navigation and electronic driver ID, in order to offer real-time information on driver activity and vehicle movements, through any PC with an Internet connection.
