Marketers Night At KICC(AllAfrica Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The popular marketers night took place last Friday evening courtesy of Marketing Africa in partnership with Mumias Sugar company and Tusker Malt Lager. The event brings together marketing professionals and practitioners around Kenya, to network and share experiences in an informal gathering. "It's a day on which marketers reflect upon the application of marketing principles in their daily operations and the challenges there upon," said Marketing Africa CEO William Kalombo. Guest of honour was Senate speaker Ekwee Ethuro, who explained the role of the senate in marketing and business and how an enabling environment is vital for business prosperity. Present also was renown West African inspirational speakers Wale Akinyemi and Peter Minambo, who spoke on possible ways of Kenya penetrating into the world market and being the market centre for all African nations following the discovery of oil among other minerals.
