Market Talk: Shibor rates rise on Wed.
BEIJING, Feb 15, 2012 (Xinhua via COMTEX) --
Shanghai Interbank Offered Rate
(Shibor) rose on Wednesday in view of the online subscription for the
A-share initial public offering of the China Communications
Construction Company Ltd. (CCCC; 01800.HK) and banks' payment for
required reserves.
The 1-month Shibor rose 18.17 basis points to 4.5992 percent while
the 3-month Shibor was down 0.66 basis points on Wednesday to 5.2774
percent.
The following chart shows the Shanghai Interbank Offered Rate
(Shibor) and change of each type of rate on Wednesday, according to
data released by the China Foreign Exchange Trading System.
