Market Talk: Shibor rates fall slightly on Mon.
BEIJING, Feb 12, 2012 (Xinhua via COMTEX) --
Shanghai Interbank Offered Rate
(Shibor) fell slightly on Monday.
The 3-month Shibor fell down 1.6 basis points to 5.2982 percent,
while the overnight Shibor edged up 0.16 basis points to 2.6883
percent.
Traders expected that China's central bank may suspend central
bank bill issue on Tuesday to ensure market liquidity.
The following chart shows the Shanghai Interbank Offered Rate
(Shibor) and change of each type of rate on Monday, according to data
released by the China Foreign Exchange Trading System.
