(Cision Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Intensifies market focus and broadens industry reach Market Engineering, the leading external communications agency for automotive technology businesses, has recruited former Jaguar Land Rover global PR director Paul Chadderton to a new account director position. As well as strengthening the agency’s service to its portfolio of UK and multinational B2B clients, Chadderton’s appointment further develops Market Engineering’s expertise in the premium luxury and high performance vehicle sectors.

“Market Engineering prides itself on delivering an unrivalled blend of specialist knowledge, technical accuracy and marketing prowess so Paul will be an invaluable asset to the company,” explained Richard Gotch, Market Engineering managing director.  “As an experienced strategist, writer and communications director, his skills and knowledge are ideally suited to Market Engineering’s continued delivery of expert, technically -focused material for a growing client base which has driven double -digit growth for the business in the last three years.” Chadderton, who left Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) last year after a 12 year association with the Jaguar brand, held a number of senior communications positions at the company including global PR director roles for Jaguar and JLR corporate communications. Most recently he has been a director of a boutique creative services agency.

“Having Paul at Market Engineering  enhances our capacity to support multinational companies with a full suite of services ranging from highly technical PR to complex corporate and crisis communications,” added Richard Gotch.  “As well as benefiting our 23 technology clients – many of whom are global first-tier automotive suppliers that have relied on us for more than a decade – this new appointment also reinforces  our capability in the luxury, performance and niche vehicle segments. Paul will also be instrumental in mentoring other members of the Market Engineering team, including the successful candidate for a currently open account manager position.” Paul Chadderton, who will be based at Market Engineering’s Oxfordshire HQ and assumes his new responsibilities with immediate effect, commented: “Market Engineering is held in high regard by the automotive industry and associated media and I look forward to working with the team on a portfolio of prestigious clients.
