MapR Technologies Appoints Patrik Svanstrom as VP, EMEA [Professional Services Close - Up](Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) MapR Technologies reported the appointment of Patrik Svanstrom as vice president, EMEA. According to a release from the company, Svanstrom will be responsible for MapR business activities across the region, including sales and partner development, strategic planning, customer engagement and revenue growth. With over 20 years of experience in enterprise software and infrastructure markets, Svanstrom has held executive management positions at start-ups and multinational companies, including Informatica, HP, EMC and Oracle. "Patrik has a great deal of operational expertise having worked in a wide range of industry sectors," said Steve Fitz, senior vice president of worldwide field operations, MapR Technologies. "We are excited to have him lead our EMEA organization as his experience driving successful go-to-market teams will help continue our accelerated sales growth across the region."
