Luxul Wireless Awarded New Patent for Shock-WAV(TM) WiFi Signal Booster Technology

LINDON, Utah --(Business Wire)-- Luxul Wireless, a leading innovator of patented high-performance wireless signal technologies, announced today the issuance of a broad claim patent for its family of Shock-WAV(TM) WiFi Signal Boosters by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

"Our Shock-WAV WiFi Signal Booster technology exemplifies the level of innovation that Luxul is known for throughout the wireless community," said Tyler Crawford, president and CEO of Luxul Wireless. "This patent positions Luxul Wireless as a leading innovator of world-class wireless signal propagation technologies that deliver the cleanest and most efficient wireless networks on the market."

In contrast to traditional amplifiers that use analog technologies, Luxul Shock-WAV Boosters are digital and utilize Automatic Gain Control (AGC) technology that monitors an incoming signal and automatically makes adjustments so the output signal maintains constant power levels. This ensures the cleanest signal possible and results in a higher performing wireless network. The booster also is bi-directional to enhance the receive signal, providing significant network performance improvements, especially when used with client devices over longer distances. Shock-WAV is an important component of Luxul's Clear-WAV(TM) signal technology, which delivers a reliable and powerful signal for use in mobile and fixed Non-Line-of-Site (NLOS) wireless applications.

Among the claims protected by this patent are:

1. Digital Automatic Gain Control (AGC) technology that allows for "Smart" amplification, optimizing the signal for lowest noise and highest throughput.

2. Built in Power Over Ethernet (POE) capability, enabling Shock-WAV to deliver power and data to wireless access points and other devices using a standard CAT-5 cable connection.
