LockPath Names Bob Wescott VP of Sales

Apr 09, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- LockPath, a provider of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) applications, announced the appointment of Bob Wescott as VP of Sales.

According to a release, a sales executive with more than 20 years of security and technology sales experience, Wescott will lead the LockPath sales team and be responsible for the company's direct and channel sales efforts. He will focus on building out an exceptional sales team and partner program, recruiting and training to scale the business rapidly. Wescott will split his time between Overland Park, Kansas and Denver, Colorado and report directly to CEO Chris Caldwell.

"Bob is a proven force in enterprise software sales and will be an incredible asset for our growing team. Understanding how direct and channel efforts can combine to drive high growth, his decades of experience building strong channel programs and leading top-performing direct sales teams will help position LockPath for its strongest year yet," said Chris Caldwell, chief executive officer, LockPath. "We've seen exponential growth in both our direct and channel sales, and we expect that will continue with Bob leading our sales initiative." Prior to joining LockPath, Wescott was the senior director of enterprise sales at LogRhythm, Inc., a Colorado-based security information and event management (SIEM) and log management software company. During his tenure at Q1 Labs, a global provider of SIEM and log management products (acquired by IBM), he held a variety of roles including director of worldwide channels, business development, and direct sales. He was previously the vice president of sales at Reputation Technologies, a business intelligence software firm in Boston. In addition, Wescott held a variety of senior sales positions at EMC Corp. and Sun Microsystems.
