Lineage Power to Attend INTELEC 2008

DALLAS --(Business Wire)-- Senior executives from Lineage Power Corporation, a Gores Group affiliate and a trusted provider of energy-efficient AC/DC and DC/DC switching technologies, will attend INTELEC 2008, an annual energy systems conference which will be held from Sept. 14-18 at the Town and Country Resort and Convention Center in San Diego, Calif.

Roger Stonecipher, Lineage Power's CEO, and Greg Fasullo, vice president and general manager, Energy Systems, will present the new Infinity-D Modular Power System. Part of the Infinity NE Series, the Infinity-D may be configured as a +24V or -48V single voltage power system or as a "dual voltage" power system that supports rectifiers and converters.

The new system, aimed at wireless base stations, offers a low-cost solution with the flexibility and capability to grow with future power requirements. Built using a modular architecture of complete, 8-inch tall, "mini-system" modules that can be combined to form larger systems, each module includes rectifiers or converters distributed through 10 circuit breaker or fuse bullet distribution positions. This combination of power and distribution minimizes unnecessary capacity and cost.

The Infinity-D also offers a digital comprehensive, control and monitoring system with Web access, which supports maintenance-related functions, such as remote monitoring, automated installation and setup, battery testing and user programmable alarms.
