Limehouse Software Experiences Strong Growth in North American Market
MIAMI --(Business Wire)-- Limehouse Software, the global leader in collaboration, publishing and citizen engagement software, announced today that it has substantially grown its customer base in North America and is looking for quality partners to continue to grow and expand it markets.
The U.K.-based company with more than 250 customers opened offices in the U.S. in May 2006 and has rapidly built a customer base for its software suite including the cities of Atlanta, Denver, Providence, Fort Worth and Raleigh. The company also works with Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) such as the Greater Toronto Transportation Authority (GTTA) and with environmental consulting firms PBR Hawaii & Associates and Jacobs Carter Burgess.
"The response in North America to our software suite has been excellent, exceeding our expectations," said Giles Welch, chief executive officer for Limehouse Software. "The U.S. and Canada are big markets for us with numerous opportunities and we are looking to take advantage of that by expanding our sales and marketing efforts and working with experienced partners."
The Limehouse software suite includes two products, ucreate(TM) and uengage(TM). ucreate is a Web-based document-centric collaboration and publishing solution used to produce organizational strategy and policy documents. The software enables multiple authors to work on one document at the same time, making sure that all collaborators are always working from the latest version of the plan. It allows documents to be assembled, reassembled and reused for multiple purposes. Documents are automatically formatted during the creation and editing process and can be published instantly to print-ready PDF, XML, AAA-compliant HTML and InDesign(R) formats.
The uengage(TM) software enables stakeholders to provide feedback on documents created from Limehouse Software. Using a Web-based online environment, stakeholders can log in and point to any relevant section of the document. They can then leave questions or comments and participate in online polls or community surveys. The new geographic information system capabilities also enable users to access maps within a document and highlight information in specific mapped locations.
"This is the only software available that allows organizations and businesses to not only easily create and publish documents, but to also get specific interactive feedback on strategies, policies and ideas from stakeholders," said Sandy Calabrese, vice president and general manager for Limehouse Software. "We offer a valuable tool and working with the right team of partners we see tremendous growth potential in the North American market."
Both ucreate and uengage are available as software-on-demand and require nothing more than Internet access and a working email address. They can be used on a wide variety of Web browsers including Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari.
