Licensing Executives Society (U.S.A. and Canada) Brings Together World-Renowned Speakers to Highlight the State of Innovation at Annual Meeting in Boston Oct. 14-17


The Licensing Executives Society (U.S.A. and Canada) today announced additional speakers and topics for its 2018 Annual Meeting, held in Boston, the birthplace of innovation, from Oct. 14-17, 2018, at the Boston Marriott Copley Place. The highly-anticipated, three-day event is expected to convene more than 500 executives and feature a speaker line-up of notable business leaders and members of the IP, ICM and standards communities. This year's meeting will build upon the IP innovation theme, including an opening plenary and fireside chat entitled "Advancing Innovation Through A Renewal Of Trust." Featured plenary speakers will explore the state of innovation and competitiveness in America, and will include Bill Elkington, LES President and Chair, Senior Director, IP Management, Rockwell Collins; Andrei Iancu, Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO); and Dr. Walter G. Copan, Under Secretary of Commercefor Standards and Technology and Director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
