Lian Life Insurance selects Avaya IP Office solutions

Apr 09, 2012 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Avaya, a provider of business communications and collaboration systems and services, has announced that Lian Life Insurance Co, Ltd, of Jiangsu Province has selected Avaya IP Office solutions, to enhance collaboration and saved communications cost.

The Avaya system, which also includes the Avaya 8300 Media Server, connects Lian Life's headquarters and branch offices, and can grow with the company's expansion within and beyond Jiangsu Province.

The company will deploy Avaya IP Office in five more branch offices in the province which are opening soon. The Avaya system provides features such as voice call, voice mail, call forwarding, and conferencing to facilitate collaboration among the staff.


Avaya IP Office can support up to 128-way 'meet-me' conferencing. A single dial plan is in place so that employees can contact each other by dialing an extension number. The whole system can be administered centrally from headquarters which makes it easy to manage and upgrade.

The Avaya solution has provided a reliable and flexible platform which we can count on so that we can focus on our core business," said Liu Zhenghuan, president of Lian Life.
