LeWeb'14 Paris Today Announces the 3 Finalists of Its Internationally-Renowned Start-up Competition


LeWeb'14 Paris today announces the 3 finalists of its internationally-renowned Start-Up Competition. Finalists have been selected from over 1000 presented projects but also thanks to the Start-Up Tour that took place in four cities (Berlin, Stockholm, Paris and Barcelona). Girls in Tech also presented a finalist in the context of its partnership with LeWeb.

1st prize :
Jukedeck uses algorithms to produce affordable, copyright-free music in unlimited quantities. Users can generate a soundtrack at the touch of a button that is exactly the right length for their media, as well as choosing the style of the music and even what should happen in the soundtrack at various points. Jukedeck entered the Startup Competition though the Worldwide selection. www.jukedeck.com

Second prize :
EaySize started from the passion for eCommerce and rapidly grew into a service for optimising how apparel online shops see size charts. Today, it provides the much needed assistance with defining size for the online-shopping. EasySize entered the Startup Competition through winning a "Girls in Tech" event. www.easysize.me



Third prize :
NaturalCycles allows you to track your fertility, thus providing a natural birth-control solution. NaturalCycles won the Startup Tour Stockholm. www.naturalcycles.com

"We are thrilled to see that this year 2 of the 3 startup finalists were created by women. It is a big step in our ecosystem," says Geraldine Le Meur, co-founder of LeWeb conference.


LeWeb Start-Up Competition provided entrants with an international platform to pitch their projects at LeWeb'14 Paris, on December 9 and 10. The three winning projects had the opportunity to present their Start-Up to Internet specialists, business angels and venture capitalists on the main LeWeb'14 Paris stage.
