Level 3 and Workonline Collaborate to Enable Enhanced Network Connectivity in Africa


(AllAfrica Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Level 3 Communications, a US-based company that provides local, national and global communications services to enterprise, government and carrier customers, is collaborating with Workonline Communications to provide enhanced network connectivity in Africa.



Workonline, based in South Africa, is a pan-African service provider of fibre-based connectivity services. By working with Level 3, the company will be able to provide seamless connectivity to its customers outside South Africa via Level 3's global network, using network-to-network interfaces (NNIs) in Cape Town, Johannesburg and London. Level 3 will be able to access new network opportunities provided by Workonline, particularly in metro areas in the Africa region.
