LECG Adds Leading Forensic Accountant and Intellectual Property Expert Christian Tregillis to Firm's Damages and Intellectual Property Practice

(Market Wire Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) EMERYVILLE, CA, April 8 / MARKET WIRE/ --

Global expert services firm LECG (NASDAQ: XPRT) announced the addition of Christian Tregillis, a forensic accounting

and intellectual property expert with extensive experience in major
litigation, who will join the damages and intellectual property practice in
the firm's Century City, Calif. office.

Tregillis joins the $400 million expert services and economic advisory firm
as managing director after serving as managing director at Kroll, Inc.,
where he was a leader of the forensic accounting and litigation consulting
group in the western U.S. and the national leader of the intellectual
property services practice.

"I am delighted that Chris has joined the damages and intellectual property
practice at LECG," said Richard Boulton, global head of finance and
accounting services at LECG. "He is a recognized expert with a wide range
of experience in forensic accounting and intellectual property consulting
engagements. Chris also has significant experience in marketing and
business development; and he has a collaborative style which fits very well
with the culture of teamwork we emphasize at LECG. We are fortunate that
Chris has chosen to continue building his career at LECG and we look
forward to having him play a broader role in the firm."

At LECG, Tregillis will specialize in damages, intellectual property and
forensic accounting, and will perform investigations of financial,
accounting, statistical, economic and market issues, primarily with regard
to disputes and valuations.

"I'm very excited to join LECG, whose deep bench of talent and resources is
unparalleled," Tregillis said. "I look forward not only to growing my
practice, but also working with other experts to build on LECG's culture of
collaboration and to create something that is bigger than the sum of its
individual parts."

Prior to his position at Kroll, Tregillis served as a partner in the Los
Angeles office of Deloitte & Touche, where he led the local intellectual
asset management and commercial litigation groups. He has worked on more
than 400 matters in his 18 years of financial consulting investigations,
including 11 years at Big Four accounting firms. He has strong industry
experience in media & entertainment, technology and life sciences, and has
testified in state and federal courts across the U.S., as well as
arbitration proceedings.

Tregillis is currently the chair of both the Economic Damages Task Force of
the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the
economic damages section of the California Society of Certified Public
Accountants (CalCPA). He is on the AICPA's forensic and litigation services
committee and the steering committee for CalCPA's litigation sections. From
2003 to 2007 he served on the board of trustees of the Center for Law in
the Public Interest and was the Center's chief financial officer.

He received an MBA degree in finance and accounting from the University of
Chicago Graduate School of Business and an AB degree from Occidental
College. Tregillis is a certified public accountant and holds the
accredited in business valuation credential.
