Language Access Network Announces First Quarter Metrics
COLUMBUS, Ohio --(Business Wire)-- Language Access Network, Inc (OTC: LANW), a leader in video interpretation services, announced today metrics for the first quarter for the period ended March 31, 2007. The Company reported that at the end of the first quarter 10 (Ten) MARTTI(TM) systems had been installed at pharmacies and medical facilities, a 400% increase compared to 2 units in the fiscal 2006 first quarter. Language Access will install an additional 22 units by the end of the second quarter 2007. With the signed agreements in place, LAN anticipates an addition 40 MARTTI(TM) systems will be installed at pharmacies and medical facilities over the course of the next three months.
The Company also disclosed that minutes of interpretation service provided increased by 277% from the year-earlier period, and 147% on a sequential basis compared to the fourth quarter.
"We have accelerated our business plan and started to generate real momentum through new installations at leading medical facilities such as Mercy Hospital based in Miami and Boston Medical Center in Massachusetts," said Michael Guirlinger Language Access Network's CEO.
