The kids, ages 3-15 had the opportunity to run on the same course as the 2014 City Bikes IRONMAN® 70.3® Miami triathlon, which takes place tomorrow. The fun run is for "triathletes to be" and aims to help stem the rising tide of childhood obesity through exercise and healthy lifestyles.

Before the fun run, UnitedHealthcare presented a $3,000 cheque to Tina Brown, executive director, Overtown Youth Center of Miami, to support its healthy living programs. The company also provided 100 free admissions to members, enabling youth who may face cost barriers to participate in the running event. This is the third year UnitedHealthcare is supporting IRONKIDS as part of the company's commitment to help stem the rising tide of childhood obesity through healthy lifestyles.
