Kazakhstan : NETWORK expanded and upgraded by Tele2 Kazakhstan [TendersInfo (India)]


(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Mobile operator Tele2 Kazakhstan finished one of the stages of its network development programme in the first quarter. Network capacity and coverage was raised in cities, in addition to in small agglomerations. The network was developed in the cities of Almaty, Astana, Aktobe and Taraz, in addition to in the smaller towns of Yesik, Kaskelen, and Talgar and in many villages in the Almaty region, in addition to in some villages in Kostanay, Southern Kazakhstan, Eastern Kazakhstan regions.



The company is at present presenting Dual Carrier HSDPA+ (DC-HSDPA+) technology. The operator's fibre supports presently cover the cities of Almaty, Astana, Karaganda and Aktobe. Base stations will be connected this year to the networks of Shymkent, Taraz, Pavlodar Oskemen and Uralsk.
