Josh Feldmeth Promoted to CEO of Interbrand North America

NEW YORK --(Business Wire)--

Interbrand, the world's leading brand consultancy, announced today that Josh Feldmeth has been appointed CEO of Interbrand North America. He succeeds Lee Carpenter, who is leaving Interbrand after 12 years.

As CEO of Interbrand North America, Feldmeth will oversee Interbrand's New York, San Francisco, Toronto, Dayton, Cincinnati and BrandWizard offices. He will continue to be based in New York, will report directly into Interbrand Global CEO, Jez Frampton and will also sit on the Interbrand Global Executive Committee.

Since 2013, Feldmeth has served as the CEO of Interbrand's New York, San Francisco and Toronto offices. During that time, he has been a respected partner of clients such as UPS, AT&T (News - Alert) and GE. His expertise around creating and managing brand value has been sought by media outlets like CNBC, Bloomberg TV, Advertising Age, Mashable and many others.

"Those who have benefitted from working with Josh will not be surprised by the news of his promotion," noted Frampton. "Josh's genuine passion for brands, his supreme intellect and his dynamic leadership style will be welcomed by Interbrand employees and clients alike. While he has big shoes to fill with Lee's departure, I am certain Josh will thrive in his new position. His collaborative style is perfectly suited to our OneFirm approach-an approach that ensures we always bring the best skills together for the benefit of our clients".

Feldmeth first joined Interbrand in 2002 as a Vice President of Strategy in the Dayton office. He transferred to the Zürich office in 2007 to drive the growth of Interbrand's analytics capabilities across Europe. In September 2009, Feldmeth became Managing Director of Interbrand Amsterdam. In October 2010, he returned to the US to become CEO of Interbrand's New York office.

"Interbrand has been my professional home for over a decade-and for good reason. I believe in our service offerings, our commitment to clients and, above all else, our people, " said Feldmeth. "This is an exiting time for our business. It's a moment of transition when, more than ever before, we have the opportunity to help clients drive meaningful innovation and create world-changing experiences."

Prior to joining Interbrand, Feldmeth was a Principle Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (News - Alert) in the strategy practice and has worked as a Marketing Manager for an automotive supplier.

Feldmeth holds an MBA from the University of Texas and a BA in Political Science from Wheaton College.
