JetBlue Airways reports appointment of new vice president of airports

Jan 09, 2009 (AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION via COMTEX) --
JetBlue Airways Corporation (Nasdaq: JBLU) has announced the
appointment of Alex Battaglia as vice president of airports.
This new role expands Battaglia's responsibilities to include all
airport-related functions across JetBlue's network of 53 destinations.
Battaglia has been employed at JetBlue since March 2007 and previously
served as vice president of the airline's operations at New York's JFK



Airport.
Previously Battaglia worked at Delta Air Lines for 24 years, holding
various positions including director of JFK operations.
