It is easier to just follow the money
Apr 17, 2012 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) --
A growing number of Australian companies are reporting their results in US currency. There are already about 50 companies listed on the Australian stock exchange that report in foreign currencies. As companies grow, they earn more of their income overseas. Mining companies are likely to report in US dollars, as it is the currency in which global commodities are sold. Companies reporting in US dollars include Computershare, QBE Insurance, CSL, News Corporation and BHP Billiton.
