ISS 2011 to Focus on Economic Trends and New Cyclical Forces in the Semiconductor Industry

The SEMI Industry Strategy Symposium (ISS) 2011, the executive platform for discussing the trends and challenges converging on the semiconductor manufacturing industry, will focus on new forces and dynamics that are driving the semiconductor business cycle. Held in Half Moon Bay, Calif. on January 9-12, 2011, this year's program features presentations from industry leaders and top market economists who will lead insightful debates among CEOs of leading technology providers. Mark Durcan, president and chief operating officer of Micron, will provide the keynote address.
Building on the theme "The Role of Capital Efficiency through Cycles," the conference focuses on key industry trends including managing capital efficiency, maximizing R&D investment choices, investing in future growth, establishing sound collaboration and risk mitigation strategies, and recognizing adjacent market opportunities.
