(Global Data Point Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) This EHR software is compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

"Receiving ONC-ACB Certification from Drummond Group is a testament to our commitment of providing the highest-quality tools for our customers, allowing them to improve health information management workflow by enabling access to critical care information," said William J. Sweeney, CTO of IOD. "With real-time speed, PRISM expedites release of information (ROI) processes, increasing efficiency for health information management staff and offering enhanced ROI tracking and reporting capabilities." Drummond Group's ONC-ACB certification program certifies that EHRs meet the meaningful use criteria for either eligible provider or hospital technology. In turn, healthcare providers using the EHR systems of certified vendors are qualified to receive federal stimulus monies upon demonstrating meaningful use of the technology - a key component of the federal government's push to improve clinical care delivery through the adoption and effective use of EHRs by U.S. healthcare providers.

The PRISM Platform, which met the requirements for both inpatient and ambulatory EHR, is a Web-based ROI management, tracking and reporting software. The solution provides healthcare organizations with real-time intelligence on health information requests and activity, including secure encryption and complete tracking and reporting capabilities for every stage of the ROI process.

"Leveraging information technology for healthcare initiatives provides the opportunity to deliver a high-level quality of care and efficiency which essentially benefits and enhances the overall patient experience," said Rik Drummond, CEO of the Drummond Group Inc. "We have been testing software for more than a decade and will continue to provide our extensive experience testing and certifying complex systems for multiple industries, as well as ensuring interoperability and security remain key components in the growing healthcare industry." This EHR Module is 2014 Edition compliant and has been certified by an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or guarantee the receipt of incentive payments.
